A magnitude 7.6 earthquake with a depth of 61.4km struck the city of Kainantu in Papua New Guinea within the southwestern Pacific on Sunday morning, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. There isn’t a tsunami risk, in accordance with the US Nationwide Tsunami Warning Heart.
