Crowds of individuals in Libya have stormed a metropolis mayor’s house and set it on fireplace, in protest at how the country’s authorities’ handled last week’s catastrophic flood.
Video appeared to indicate protesters on the mayor’s home, throwing numerous objects together with a mattress into the flames.
Mayor Abdulmenam al-Ghaithi governs the japanese metropolis of Derna, which has been hit hardest by floods that adopted the bursting of two dams within the area.
Residents say they weren’t sufficiently warned by officers, who they consider will need to have identified an enormous quantity of rainfall was coming.
