“Really, we regularly stumble throughout issues. We are going to all of the sudden notice that we have been considering by way of guidelines, and we take that chance to cease at that second and ask ourselves why these issues are guidelines.”
To provide an instance of what kind of concepts for episodes may come from surprising thought processes, Harmon had this to say:
“I want to offer a selected instance: the primary season’s paintball episode was the results of a dialog that started with a thought experiment asking the very query you simply requested me.
I stated, ‘Take the highest no-no. Is it attainable to do a Columbine episode? Is it attainable to have shootings in a faculty? Is there a approach to get away with that with out offending anyone?’ After which any individual stated, ‘Nicely, paintball could be an instance.’ The thought experiment ended there, however that is the place the query led us. That dialog led there.”
