Dan Lembo, who competed on the twenty first season of Survivor in 2010, has died. Lembo’s passing at age 75 occurred on September 3 at his dwelling in Manhattan; a reason behind demise has not been offered.
Lembo was 63 when he appeared on Survivor: Nicaragua. Well liked by fellow members, he endured till the ultimate 5, being voted out on Day 37.
After being eradicated, he told Folks, “I didn’t play Survivor for cash. I wished the journey. I’m the kind of man who sees a problem and thinks, ‘I might do this.’ So I wished to be a part of this loopy sport — and I did fairly nicely, I’d say! I made it actually far.”
On his present profile, Lembo’s declare to fame was “elevating two sons and my profession” whereas his cause for being on Survivor was “my ego (and for enjoyable).”
Based on his obituary, Daniel Louis Lembo was born in Brooklyn on November 7, 1946. He attended New Utrecht Excessive College in Bensonhurst and continued his training at Brooklyn Faculty, graduating in 1969. He went on to be an actual property government.
He’s described by his family members as “a charismatic, larger-than-life, outgoing bon vivant” who “liked nothing greater than spending time along with his kids and buddies – new and previous. On weekends he loved softball in Bridgehampton with buddies. Daniel might be remembered as a good friend to all and a father to 2.”
Lembo is survived by his sons, Matthew and Michael, their spouses, 5 grandchildren and former spouse Barbara.
