Joseph “Jo Mersa” Marley, son of Stephen Marley and grandson of Bob Marley, has died. He was 31.
A consultant for the late reggae artist confirmed the information to Rolling Stone on December 27. Particulars of the reason for dying are unclear at this second.
Marley was born on March 12, 1991, in Kingston, Jamaica. He made his debut with “My Woman” in 2010 the place he collaborated together with his cousin Daniel Bambaata Marley. In 2012 he launched “Dangerous So” which was included in his EP titled “Snug” in 2014. His debut album titled “Everlasting” would drop in 2021.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Marley talked about rising up surrounded by a household of musicians saying, “It was a really magical factor, seeing these folks come round to the home and the way the entire work course of would occur.
