SoftBank Group Corp mentioned on Wednesday Rajeev Misra is stepping down as company officer and govt vp on the group, additional loosening ties with the chief after he ceded a frontline function managing the second Imaginative and prescient Fund.
The transfer comes after SoftBank this month reported a lack of $50 billion on the Imaginative and prescient Fund funding arm within the six months to end-June, with Chief Govt Masayoshi Son pledging to chop again funding exercise and cut back prices.
Misra, who’s organising an exterior multi-asset fund, Reuters reported beforehand, retains his function overseeing the primary $100 billion Imaginative and prescient Fund.
