LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Weeknd immediately ended his sold-out live performance in Southern California after dropping his voice throughout a mid-song efficiency.
The four-time Grammy winner was performing his third music “Can’t Really feel My Face” earlier than he abruptly stopped his present Saturday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. He then walked off stage, finally returned and instructed the viewers he misplaced his voice.
Whereas onstage, the Weeknd apologized for canceling the present and promised the viewers a refund.
“I’m going to verify everybody is nice, you’ll get your a reimbursement,” he instructed the group. “However I’ll do a present actual quickly for you guys.”
The singer added: “I can’t offer you what I wish to offer you.”
The Weeknd went on social media to clarify that he’s devastated after his “voice went out” through the first music.
“Felt it go and my coronary heart dropped,” he wrote. “My deepest apologies to my followers right here. I promise I’ll make it as much as you with a brand new date.”
The subsequent tour date scheduled for the “After Hours Til Daybreak” tour is Sept. 22 in Toronto.
