A recovering alcoholic, who almost misplaced his life to drink, has made a movie about his wrestle.
Jit Chauhan, 48, of Oadby, Leicestershire, mentioned he was ingesting a litre of whisky a day when his habit was at its worst.
Jit, who’s of Gujarati heritage, mentioned he discovered it tough to get assist.
He has now made a movie to attempt to break the stigma he says surrounds habit in South Asian communities.
The movie has been proven round Leicester, together with the Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara.
He mentioned: “Initially I used to be a bit ‘Oh gosh, I can not watch myself on display screen’. However you take a look at the larger image and also you assume ‘Yeah, let’s get this on the market. Let’s assist’.”
